Job Description:

A global industrial machinery company in the Lawrence, MA area is looking for a Field Service Engineer. This position is direct hire and full-time with an excellent benefits package.

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

Travel to customer locations to provide installations / repairs
Assist with in-house maintenance services, such as modification and reassembly of equipment as needed
Train customer personnel on function and upkeep of equipment
Perform phone support duties in-office when not traveling
Communicate with engineering department to help customer inquiries
Be on call for emergency maintenance needs
Other duties as assigned

Field Service Engineer Qualifications:

At least 5 years of prior field service experience
Minimum high school diploma or GED is required
Valid Driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time domestically and occasionally internationally, which may at times include
weekends and holidays.
Familiarity with Operating / Maintenance manuals and ability to read schematics and other technical drawings
Strong understanding of mechanical, and electrical components, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
Exemplary customer service skills and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
